Friendship Offering

This is an endearing scene in a book I recently illustrated by Keith Lawrence Roman entitled "I Sat Beside An Elephant". It will be available soon from Morningside Publishing.

The illustration was made with colored pencil and ink pens on bright white printer paper. This illustration will be a two page spread.

It is funny to me that one thing people notice without fail and really enjoy is how I made the bench sag under the elephant.
